Fierce Wellbeing: At Home in Yourself

and at Ease in the World

You wake up one day and realize the life that once defined you doesn’t quite fit anymore. The roles and identities that shaped you for decades—mother, wife, professional, caregiver—have shifted or fallen away. And you're asking: What's next? Who am I now? What do I want?

These aren't midlife questions. They're life questions, and they can arrive at any stage.

Our culture tells a predictable story about aging: that it’s a slow fading, a quiet settling, a narrowing of possibility.

But lived experience tells a different story.

It’s an invitation—sometimes gentle, sometimes disruptive—to become more fully yourself than you’ve ever been before.

My Unraveling

At forty-six, I realized I was a creative, unconventional woman living a carefully constructed conventional life. What a rude awakening that was.

But the deeper unraveling came later.

In my fifties and sixties, I watched everything shift—my own life, and the lives of women around me. Menopause. Children leaving home. Divorce. Illness. Becoming grandmothers. Caring for aging parents. Loss in its many forms.

It became clear these weren't phases to “get through.” They were life transitions requiring profound reorientations of self.

And everything I had spent years studying—personal growth, psychology, spirituality, life coaching—took on a different meaning.

This work isn’t about finding yourself. It’s about staying rooted in yourself as life continues to change around you.

That’s what How She Thrives is really about.

This Is for You If...

You’re a thoughtful woman in your fifties, sixties, or beyond—and you know, somewhere deep down, that you’re not done becoming.

Maybe retirement looks nothing like you imagined. Maybe you’re caring for, or grieving, aging parents. Perhaps you’re navigating health changes, your own or someone else’s. Maybe you’re rediscovering who you are after decades of partnership—or learning to live alone again.

Or maybe nothing dramatic has happened, but you can feel it: a quiet restlessness. A sense that there’s more truth to live into.

You’re not here because you’re broken. You’re here because something in you refuses to go numb. And you want to feel awake in your own life.

What We Explore

Every issue explores one or more of three themes:

Becoming Your Best Self

Letting go of outdated identities and allowing the woman you are today to lead.

Inner Grounding
Staying steady through change, loss, and uncertainty without abandoning yourself.

Living with Intention
Creating a life that feels meaningful—through relationships, creativity, contribution, or simply being fully present to your days.

Why Fierce Wellbeing?

Because our culture suggests that with age, you should quiet down. Step back. Settle. Fierce wellbeing is the refusal of that narrative.

It's the felt sense of being at home in yourself and at ease in the world—not despite your age, but because of the depth and wisdom your years have given you.

Who Thrives Here

The women who find their way here share something in common: They’ve stopped performing the life that once made sense—and started telling themselves the truth.

They’re not interested in shrinking, pleasing, or sleepwalking through the years ahead. They want to feel wildly alive. Present. Fully themselves.
